And even more stitching


I also completed Cathy's Fairy block today. I choose the rose one as I had this lovely rose motif that would sit nicely on the block.

I added to the rose fabric on the left some hand dyed chain stitch buds, just to highlight the rose buds.

I then added those woven roses that I love doing so much to the top right corner.



I also added a silk ribbon butterfly and a lovely cream braid with a single strand of red cotton wrapped along it. 


I then chain stitched two sides of the centre silkie and then wrapped them with verigated floss.

To finish of I buttonholed the botton of the silkie and added flower beads all over it.
And here is the rose motif that I thought would look so good on this block.
